Once you are logged into MusicPlay, here is a Spring song you can learn and sing at home. Notice the differences between ta, ti-ti and tika tikas (quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes). Also you will notice this song is a 'round'. Can you figure out what a round is, in music?

Music Activities - April 20, 2020

Kindergarten, Gr 1 and 2

Music is one way we have to express our feelings. You can play this game to create music that shows different feelings - happy, sad, or mad. You might even want to move to your music. Time to improvise and compose!



Here is a new beautiful song for Earth Day, which is coming up on April 22.  Perhaps you can draw and label a picture related to Earth.

Kindergarten and Grade 1

I hope that you are taking good care of yourselves and your families during this difficult time. Just know that I am thinking about you and missing all Saddle Ridge students very much. We certainly have a lot of fun together in the music room! 
As we begin our journey of online learning on April 6, I will be using this Music Blog page weekly to provide some websites and activities related to music that you could try at home.
