Grade 1-4 music
The past couple of weeks in music we have been learning about beat, rhythm and have discussed other concepts such as pitch, tempo and volume. We have also talked about how music can make us feel. We have learned about the musical groups 'The Piano Guys' and 'Simply Three' and are working on becoming "music detectives" when listening to various genres of music. We have played some instruments such as the rainstick and have also begun to learn the Terry Fox Song for our upcoming assembly and Terry Fox Run on September 27.
Kindergarten music
The students have just begun music class this past week in the music room. We are learning all about the routines and expectations in the music room and we have had lots of fun playing musical games and learning about beat.
